Veneer wherever you look: The ‘White Rabbit' fitness studio in Bern displays fine veneer at its best from almost every angle. The woods used range from smoked European walnut and French white oak in a rough-sawn finish to framed and smoked eucalyptus and sweet chestnut. Around 500 square metres of this attractive material were used. ‘The client Georg Bielmann chose from our extensive range in the company's own ‘konzept.raum' for the sophisticated fit-out of the exclusive fitness studio,' says Fabian Sager, who is responsible for veneer projects at Roser, among other things, and continues: 'In the konzept.raum, veneers from more than 100 types of wood are waiting for demanding projects like this.' The result is well worth seeing: from towel rails to large-format surfaces, the tree fillet shows what it can do both visually and haptically. ‘In an environment like this, studio guests can feel completely at ease during their intensive workout programme - and at the same time mentally engage with the beauty of nature.
