German Timber Trade Federation

The Gesamtverband Deutscher Holzhandel e.V. (German Timber Trade Federation) is the cross-cooperative and representative branch association of the German timber trade with approx. 900 member companies. It represents the economic interests of the timber trade and its sales channels vis-à-vis business, politics, the media, associations and the industry. As a trade association, it attends to the interests of its member companies in the specialist areas of timber wholesale, foreign trade in timber, timber retail trade, raw wood trade and veneer trade. The GD Holz sees itself as a nationwide network that promotes communication and dialogue among its members while including their industrial partners.
