Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN)
The Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) e.V. was founded in 1996 by the German veneer industry and its partners. Today it is supported by European companies from the veneer industry, trade and veneer processing industry as well as professional associations of the wood industry. The aim of the association is to promote the natural all-round material veneer.

Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) e.V. with new office in Bonn
Bonn. The Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) e.V. is no longer a member of the Main Association of the German Woodworking Industry (HDH). In mid-March, the IFN board unanimously decided to leave the HDH with immediate effect. Ursula Geismann was confirmed in her office as IFN Managing Director and now performs her function from the new Bonn office. Mrs Geismann does not perform any more activities for the HDH. The IFN office will continue the association's marketing and press work in the usual manner and will be available to its members as a contact point for technical questions, for example, on the raw material wood, on emissions or on the subject of labour protection.Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN)
