LIEBHERR Ochsenhausen site: Europlac equips customer centre with the finest oak veneer
Bad Honnef. The europlac company, with head office in Tettnang and production facility in the Slovakian town of Topolcany, fitted out Liebherr's new customer centre in the Baden-Württemberg town of Ochsenhausen with top oak veneer. It adds attractive accentuation in the building, in which product worlds for all aspects of cooling are presented.
This summer, the Liebherr household appliances company (Liebherr-Hausgeräte Ochsenhausen GmbH) opened a customer centre with product worlds covering all aspects of cooling at the Ochsenhausen site with an area of more than 322 square metres. More than 15 million euros were invested in the new five-storey building with a total area of more than 3,530 square metres, which also includes office space for 130 workspaces as well as conference, training and event rooms. “The special feature: Decorative oak veneers, used as accentuation in the entire building, serve as real eye-catchers, Ursula Geismann, Secretary of Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN), was pleased to say about the project and added: "175 veneered particleboards were supplied by europlac for this project, which once again shows: Veneer is a traditional material and is once again completely in vogue. It reveals its unique effect even in modern architecture. Anyone who does not make use of this ecological material in one form or another only has themselves to blame. IFN/DS
